Prognosis of Renal Failure without Dialysis

Renal failurebelongs to stage 3 and 4 of Chronic Kidney Disease, in which stage the GFR is between 15% and 59%, according to the national standard of classification of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). Renal failure is commonly caused by early nephritis, renal cyst, and infection, long-term high blood pressure namely hypertension and so on. The common symptoms of renal failureinclude edema, poor appetite, poor sleep, edema, fatigue, weakness, drowsiness, dizziness, urination problems and so on.
In the stage 3 or 4 of Chronic Kidney Disease, namely renal failure, due to the GFR commonly lower than 50%, the serum creatinine is much higher than normal value. In early stage of CKD, because of the renal compensatory, the creatinine shows no obvious increase. In common condition, the serum creatinine which are the metabolic wastes of muscles and are filtrated out of blood into urine by kidneys. When the damage of kidneys is serious, the serum creatinine is accumulated in blood, so the creatinine in renal function test is higher too much for patients with Chronic Kidney Disease.
For patients with renal failure, taking timely proper treatment is the first thing, because in the stage of renal failure, the most renal Funeng therapy are already damaged, if there is no timely treatment to prevent the damage and to repair the incompletely damaged Funeng therapy, it is very possible for patients to suffer from end stage of Chronic Kidney Disease---Uremia, if that, patients have to suffer from serious pains and treatment costs even with the help of dialysis.
Besides the timely proper treatment, self management of diagnosis is also important for patients with renal failure, there are some key tips which should be taken notice of:
1. Taking adequate exercises for about 20mins, like taking a walk in the morning or evening.
2. Avoiding having a cold, because cold is possible to cause the onset of kidney disease with bacteria invading.
3. Taking too much fruits and vegetables like apple, pear, kiwi fruits and so on.
4. Taking more high quality protein like milk, fish, chicken, mutton, and so on. For patients with renal failure, taking protein with 0.3-0.4g/kg weight is OK.
Kidney Disease is chronic which needs long-term treatment process and patience, so patients should not expect renal failure being treated well in short time like cold. We should hold the continuous confidence and positive attitude to disease. As long as we don′t lose ourselves, it is possible to regain colorful life as others. Let us struggle together against the common enemy!
