Pathogenesis of Uremia

Uremia has a series of autologous poisoning symptoms, which is caused by the accumulation of metabolism and water, disorders of eletrolyte, acid-base balance and endocrine, when Acute or Chronic Renal Insufficiency develop into a severe stage.
Patients with Uremia can not excrete waste and excess water of metabolism with urine by kidney. Modern Medicine thinks that Uremia is not an independent disease but a complex syndrome, which occurs when patients lost their renal function and the internal biochemical processes are disorders.
Pathogenesis of Uremia
One, Various of Primary Glomerular Nephritis such as Membranoproliferative Glomerular Nephritis, Rapid Progress Glomerular Nephritis(RPGN), Membraneous Glomerulus Nephritis (MGN) and Focal Glomeruloscerosis, etc, if not effectively treated it can lead to Uremia.
Two, Uremia can be secondary to systemic disease such as Hypertension and Arteriosclerosis, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus(SLE),Allergic Purpura Nephritis, Diabetes and Gouty, etc.
Three, Chronic kidney infectious diseases such as Chronic Pyelonephritis.
Four, Chronic urinary tract obstruction: for example renal calculus, double side of ureteral calculi, Urinary tract stenosis, prostatic hyperplasia and tumour, etc.
Five, Congenital renal diseases: it includes Polycystic Kidney Disease(PKD), Hereditary Nephritis and various kinds of Congenital renal tubular dysfunction.
Six, other causes: for example, taking renal toxic medicine or blindly losing weight can lead to Uremia.
